A Lull Between Storms. After the excitement of the wedding November was much quieter. The only one-off item was the periodic Jewellery Show when a local craftswoman shows off the results of her labours, many of which were bought by residents either for themselves or for Christmas presents. Other than that, most routine events took place as normal, with the exception of the Mahjong and Scrabble afternoons. Hopefully that will only be a temporary suspension. Now we are all getting ready for the festive season.
