Life at Roseland Parc
Cornwall is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most beautiful locations. Due to its coastal surround and influence from the Gulf stream, Cornwall experiences a slightly sunnier and warmer climate than the rest of the UK, resulting in many visitors likening it to being abroad without the need for overseas travel.
Roseland Parc is situated within the village of Tregony –a picturesque, traditional Cornish village – located a short fifteen-minute drive from the ancient, yet bustling city of Truro with its wide range of high-street and independent shops, artisan street markets, cathedral, gardens and Royal Cornwall Museum.
Fifteen minutes drive to the north-east and you arrive in one of Cornwall’s largest towns, St Austell, known as part of the ‘Cornish Riviera’ it boasts stunning beaches, is home to the Eden Project and also, notably, the home of St Austell brewery which produces the region’s extremely popular tipple, Tribute.
Roseland Parc derives its name from the nearby Roseland Peninsula – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Incredible beaches, majestic cliffs and breathtaking panoramic views from St Anthony’s Head are all features of this example of nature’s riches.
Whether exploring rock pools, watching impeccable sunrises and sunsets or oiling the joints on a coastal trek, there are countless outdoor activities to keep you entertained for an eternity in this area of Cornwall. It’s also a rather popular spot for twitchers also with Peregrine Falcons and Curlews frequenting the area.
With all of this right on the doorstep of Roseland Parc village, it’s no wonder it’s one of our more popular communities to retire to.
