To make it easier for you to host, we have a guest suite available should you wish to have people to stay and are unable to accommodate them, or they’d prefer their own space – this is often very useful if you’re wanting to host a function such as a birthday or anniversary party at the village.

Mayford Grange has a wide range of activities and events for you to choose from. The Residents Association takes the lead on arranging many social functions, and with a rather discerning population of residents the most events range from the likes of an annual Pimms Afternoon Tea, complete with tiered cake stands of sandwiches and pastries with lashings of Pimms, and a Luxury 5-course Christmas menu catered by the on-site restaurant. It’s safe to say that the residents at Mayford Grange prefer the finer things in life as part of their retirement.

Mayford Grange has plenty to keep you occupied both inside and outside the village itself. The village is on the doorstep of Sutton Green Golf Club – one of the finest courses in Surrey – and Westfield Common, which is a Site of National Conservation due to its support of scarce varieties of native plants and aquatic species. The local area provides plenty for those keen to explore the outdoors.

Closer to home, within the village itself there’s a private screening room where the residents host bi-weekly film nights, an extensive library, outdoor putting green, table-tennis table, hairdressers, an exclusive bar and a charming restaurant that offers a tasty menu seven days a week. There is also a handy kiosk shop on site in case you run out of essentials.

In addition to all this, the residents also run a book club, arrange guest speakers to come in to inspire and enthral, and regularly organise day trips out together.
