Buying a property with us follows much the same route as a general property purchase. Many residents moving into our communities are downsizing, which means they can release some equity but they still have the security and investment that comes with home ownership at their next property. It may be that they are keen to lay down permanent roots in a certain location, close to family, friends, areas they know and near groups and activities they attend. Rent to Buy
Rent to Buy is a great option for those who are in the position to move imminently but haven’t yet sorted out putting their property on the market or haven’t yet sold it. You can join the community and move into your chosen property on a rental agreement exchange when you move in and then will have two years to complete on your purchase. This way you can sell your property in your own time or wait until the market is right to sell it at the best price. Part buy, part rent
Also known as shared ownership, this option allows you to buy a percentage of the property and rent the rest, freeing up equity you can use elsewhere. You will pay a monthly rental amount and will still have to pay for associated fees but your total purchase amount will be less. This is a great option if you would like to release equity for family, a big around-the-world adventure or another big purchase.
