Jeremy said:

“We are an ageing society and we should make available a variety of residential settings in which people can spend their later lives. Retirement villages can make a substantial contribution. I have represented Lime Tree Village residents in Parliament for many years now and have often heard how much residents appreciate the facilities and the community atmosphere it provides.”

Patrick Johnson, village manager said: “It’s nice to see Jeremy Wright, our local MP taking an interest in our retirement village and how our residents have chosen to spend their golden years in this unique setting. Our new development at The Polo Field is proving popular and Jeremy can see why. There’s a wonderful sense of community here with plenty of events and clubs for residents to enjoy; Jeremy saw residents today enjoying the film club, always a popular afternoon event!’

Andrew Ovey, CEO at Retirement Villages Group Ltd said: “We are delighted that Jeremy found the time to visit Lime Tree Village, which reflects on his commitment to the importance of independent living options for the senior population in Warwickshire. The retirement village concept is really beginning to resonate with both retirees and their children who can see the benefits of moving into a purpose built community, which offers more than just bricks and mortar. Our residents will gladly attest that they are enjoying a fulfilling retirement lifestyle in beautiful and safe environments with like-minded people.”
