Lime Tree Village hosts ‘Burns Night’

Although only three Scots live at Lime Tree Village we decided a ‘Burns Night’, held to celebrate the life of Scottish poet Robert Burns, was a good excuse for yet another party. There was a traditional Scottish meal in the restaurant – haggis, neeps and tatties, followed, of course, by cranachan and a tot of whiskey.

There was a toast to the Scottish poet Robert Burns and one to the ladies. This was followed by Scottish music from Andante, a multi-instrumental duo. Everyone joined in with the well known ballads in what was a wonderful evening.
