Residents from Cedars Village in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire organised a May Day party on Monday May 7th and it was a fantastic success!
The event was originally going to be held in the ballroom but it turned out to be a gloriously sunny day so residents were able to utilise the vast village grounds and enjoy the celebration outside.
Country and morris dancing were performed by residents and resident Beth Briggs (one of the village’s first residents!) was crowned the May Day Queen.
Games took place throughout the afternoon and a buffet lunch was served featuring lots of homemade quiches, cakes and biscuits!
A splendid day had by all.
