Last week the residents at Thamesfield retirement village were delighted to have a visit from David Woodgate the Chairman of OxSAR (Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue).

OxSAR were the nominated charity for 2019 at Thamesfield and residents were thrilled to present him with a cheque for £204.00 which they had raised from the Christmas Party Prize draw.

Living on the river village residents have seen David and his marvellous team of volunteers in action out searching on the river in all weathers. They have also enjoyed hearing him talk about their busy year in 2019 and the different items they are hoping to purchase from donations in 2020.
