Thamesfield Village

Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire

What is there to do nearby?

The community is on the edge of the beautiful and historic town of Henley-Upon-Thames, home to the famous annual rowing regatta and Henley Festival.

The town is a popular tourist attraction with lots of small, independent shops and restaurants as well as the usual high street names.

Other facilities such as supermarkets, a cinema, Post Office, hotels and a railway station are all within walking distance from the village.

Where else can we explore?

Despite the laid back and peaceful setting of Thamesfield, Maidenhead, Reading and Windsor are easily accessible if you need to head into a busier setting. London, and all of the culture it has to offer, is also so easily accessible by car, or in under an hour from the local train station.

Need more choices?

The surrounding open countryside makes the Thames Valley a popular visitor location and there are many local attractions to enjoy. The Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery, Henley River and Rowing Museum and Warburg Nature Reserve stand out as trips to pop on your ‘to do list’ which hopefully once you live here will consist less of the chores and more of the fun!

Easy links to travel further afield

The railway station at Henley offers great connections to mainline routes.

We are very close to the M3, M4(J8/9), M25 and M40(J/4) Motorways and if jet-setting is on the cards you can be at Heathrow in under an hour.
