Christmas has arrived

Diary posted

17th December 2013

We are now fully into the festive swing of things here at Elmbridge Village, having held both our annual Christmas Fair and tree lighting events within the first two weeks of the month.

The management team organised a very successful Fair, complete with a variety of gift stalls, craft tables and tombola stands. A grand total of £505 was raised on the day, thanks to the generosity of residents and staff alike.
We are currently undergoing some refurbishment works and Allenbuild the contractors kindly donated £100 to the kitty also. We are going to donate the proceeds to The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham.
Our Christmas light switch on was accompanied by a carol concert in the village hall, courtesy of the Elmbridge Village choir. They treated us to a wide repertoire of Christmas songs and carols old and new, we all joined in heartily to our favourites.
Mulled wine and mince pies followed, again kindly supplied by Allenbuild.
