Cedars Village, Retirement Villages

In a world of Kindles, audiobooks and online subscriptions, the beauty of a library can often be lost. It’s a place where people can go to relax and enjoy the physical delights of turning the pages and seeking out the next read.

At Cedars Village, the magic of a library is definitely well intact.

Our residents are often found there quietly reading; refreshing the stock of books from the local book shop; completing jigsaws; playing cards; or enjoying some time sat by the fire.

The resident-librarians, Sarah Roberts, Valerie Selway, Margaret Bugden and Angela Johnson are to thank for their continuous care to stock and their general helpfulness.
