It’s a Priory tradition that residents join together to decorate the village Christmas tree and this year was no different. The main village tree was traditionally decorated and took pride of place in the Old Chapel, while a more modern approach was taken in the Atrium entrance, where ball balls hung from the tree branches.
After the decorations came the mince pies and mulled wine, which were enjoyed as Christmas songs played in the background. It was a lovely day, which brought the residents together and spread the Christmas joy throughout the village.
There was also a traditional Christmas dinner served, which was attended by the majority of the village. Residents donned their Christmas hats and raised their glasses to the coming year.
