November has got off to a busy start for the residents at The Priory.
Residents, friends and family enjoyed a birthday party on the 4th November to celebrate the 80th birthday of Pennie Stinton! Refreshments were served along with a lovely cake and everyone raised a glass to mark Pennie’s special day.
Then on Remembrance Day resident Hugh MacKay led a short service and laid our poppy wreath which had been made last year.
A coffee morning was held afterwards to raise money for the Poppy Appeal, adding funds to the collection tin, which has been displayed in the village foyer for the sale of poppies leading up to the day.
Congratulations Pennie and thanks to everyone that supported the Poppy Appeal.
