‘Pimms & Strings’ open day – an annual tradition!

29th July 2016

In July we held a ‘Pimms & Strings’ open day and invited the public to come and look round. It was an opportunity for people who wish to know more about the retirement village lifestyle to call in and see for themselves.

There was a performance by the Mantuan String Quartet, a local group of talented classical musicians, refreshments and of course plenty of Pimms to go around too!

Following on from previous years, the event once more proved to be great fun both for guests and residents. Visitors were encouraged to talk to our existing residents, who enjoy fun and active social lives, to find out about life in our retirement village.

Despite the weather, which in true British style was rather haphazard with showers dotted throughout the afternoon, everyone had a wonderful time as you can see from the photos.

A number of people attending on the day expressed interest in becoming part of our vibrant and growing community.
