Tradition says we should eat fish on a Friday and now the residents at Avonpark Village in Limpley Stoke can do just that.

Once a month at Friday lunch time residents can pop into the Alexander Hall Bistro to enjoy a delicious fish and chips lunch.

The first lunch was a great success with 23 residents attending. They all enjoyed their tasty lunch with a glass of wine amongst friends.

The new lunch menu is just one of the community activities that regularly takes place at the village and gives villagers the perfect opportunity to socialise. There’s always plenty to do, should you wish to get involved including painting, Bridge club, croquet and table tennis.
