Roseland Parc’s residents have raised two hundred pounds for a local Truro food bank.

Mr John Gale, Residents Association Chairman, presented the cheque to Mr Bob Girvan, Manager of Truro Food Bank. Mr Girvan spoke to residents about what the charity does and how the money will be spent.

The money came from a larger fundraising effort at the village’s Christmas fair. Over Six hundred pounds was raised in total through a raffle, tombola and other stalls. The money has been split between the Truro Food Bank, Marias Animal Shelter at Probus and The Children’s Hospice South West. A member of staff at the village is completing a sky dive for the children’s hospice on Saturday 28th Feb.
