Art-and-painting-is-a-popular-hobby-among-retired-residents-featured

One of the great advantages of living on the coast means that we have a wealth of artistic inspiration on our doorstep, particularly the nearby Roseland Peninsula.

Art and painting classes are popular amongst residents, with tutors visiting on a weekly basis to share their expertise. Ruth Purdy is one such tutor, whose recent class was dedicated to watercolours.

As the weather was so nice, Ruth took the class outside onto the terrace, where residents could paint their surroundings, including the many plants and shrubs currently flowering at Roseland Parc.
