On Friday 21 April we held a coffee morning in aid of ‘Help for Heroes’ and raised nearly £300 thanks to our generous residents, who were quick to snap up the homemade cakes offered for sale on the day!
Residents enjoyed tea, coffee and naturally a good chat over the course of the morning. There was also a raffle featuring prizes donated by those who live and work in our community. It was very well attended and a big success.
Our Village Manager Simon Baird said: “Help for Heroes is close to our hearts at Roseland Parc because it assists people who have sustained injuries or illnesses while serving in the British Armed Forces. We are proud to support it and I’d like to thank everyone who helped organise or attended the coffee morning.”
