Peaceful and convenient
Castle Village enjoys a wonderful location. It is nestled in mature woodland on the edge of the National Trust Ashridge Estate just outside Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire.
Berkhamsted – on the edge of the Chiltern Hills – is a popular and affluent commuter town with all the facilities you would expect of a thriving community, supermarkets, a theatre, a church, many eateries and cafes, hotels, a GP surgery, a vets, a post office and many independent shops. Berkamstead Castle is a must visit for you and visiting family too. And for the golfers and walkers, Berkhamstead Golf Club proves to be very popular with existing residents.
And despite the rural location of the village, nearby roads such as the A41 leading to the M1, M25 and A1 offer easy access to the rest of the country. Likewise there is a regular rail service into Central London from Berkamstead railway station and Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports are nearby.
