Our Essex retirement village has now added two luxury cottages to the portfolio, expanding village life even further.

Construction work commenced last year, to extend the living options available at Moat Park in Great Easton, near to Great Dunmow.

The village already consists of Maynard House with its 26 independent living apartments and the village’s own purpose built care home, called The Moat House. This latest project means even more new retirement properties in Essex.

Sarah Burgess, Sales and Marketing Director for Retirement Villages Group Ltd, said: “The cottages are the latest addition at Moat Park and add yet another dimension to our growing Essex retirement community. With only two cottages being built, these are going to be truly exclusive.

“For anyone who hasn’t visited yet, Moat Park is situated in a beautiful part of the Essex countryside, making it the perfect setting to retire to. The cottages are nearing completion now and interest has already been building.”

The cottages are surrounded by ancient parkland including the village’s own ornamental lake. Residents will benefit from the regular social events and the communal facilities at the village clubhouse, including a dining/lounge space, library and outdoor summer patio area.

Both the cottages include integrated kitchen, lounge/diner, sun lounge, ground floor shower room, three double bedrooms, bathroom and en suite. More details, including computer generated drawings and prices, are available here.
