Our Thamesfield village is looking to help people overcome those post Christmas blues by offering complimentary afternoon tea during January.

“After all the highs of the festive season, January can be very flat. Family and friends have left, the excitement has passed and ahead are some potentially long and lonely January days,” explained Sarah Burgess, sales and marketing director.

The village will be hosting complimentary tea for the senior age group and any family and friends who would like to accompany them. Equally, people can come alone and there will be plenty of people to meet and chat with.

“Thamesfield is an important part of the Henley and Wargrave community and while this is a small gesture, we hope it provides a nice afternoon out for one or two people who may be finding the long winter days a little isolating,” added Sarah.
