Before joining RVG, Catharine spent five years working for Surrey Police, where she developed experience in response policing and specialist safeguarding investigations. Earlier in her career, she worked in events management and digital marketing for an international charity, as well as working as a psychiatric nurse supporting older adults, working-age adults and children in both clinical and community settings.
Catharine particularly enjoyed working within the community and helping people through difficult moments. Her role at Paramount Place brings together many of the areas she cares about most, including wellbeing, safeguarding, community, supporting residents, events and marketing, making it feel like a natural fit.

Catharine describes her approach to supporting prospective residents and their families as open, approachable and friendly. Her aim is to help people feel at ease, answer their questions and make sure residents and their families feel comfortable coming to her whenever they have a concern.
