With hassle-free access to the park and ride, you can visit Chester with ease. Explore the historic, walled centre; home to not only a rich heritage, but with many things to do amongst its cobbled streets. Browse novel boutiques, visit the museums, roman amphitheatre, ornate Eastgate Clock and more.
Nature-seekers will have choice in abundance. Cycle the Union canal that boasts 97 miles of canal and 92 locks. Have an adventure with family and friends at Caldy Park Nature Reserve or Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve, both are easily accessible by car or public transport from Chester.
You’re well connected in Chester
Chester’s train station is well-linked. You can take direct trains to some of the north’s best cities: Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. There are also direct routes to Manchester Airport and into Wales.
If you’re bringing your car, our onsite car park will offer both regular bays and those for electric vehicles. Just off the A41, it’s an easy connection to the North Wales Expressway. You can fast be on the M56 too, and from there it’s a short journey to Manchester’s international airport.
The nearest airports are Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon, offering international flights across Europe, Africa and North America. Both are just 30-35 minutes by car from our property. And our lock-up-and-leave homes make getting away even simpler.
Supporting the planet through community
We’re excited to have rolled out our sustainability strategy so we can make a change sooner. As part of this plan, all of our new properties, including this one, will be whole-life, net-zero carbon. That means from the first brick that’s placed to day-to-day operation, we’re minimising and offsetting our carbon.
At the heart of The Wyldewoods retirement community will be sustainable living. We will actively promote sustainable travel with walking and cycle routes through the property that connects to the canal, city centre and stunning nearby countryside. No bike? No problem. By Car
There are electric car charging points in the community. The M56 connects you to the M6 in under 20 minutes by car and provides access to the North and South of the country.
By Bus
Getting into Chester is simple with Boughton Heath park and ride directly next to the community running regular services into the city centre. There are several other bus routes located within a short walk of the development.
By Train
Chester train station served by the West Coast Mainline and Northern Trains. You’ll be able to catch regular services to Liverpool, Shrewsbury and Manchester, as well as connections into Wales to explore the countryside.

Patrick lives in Nantwich and brings more than 30 years of experience in the care industry. Most recently he was General Manager at Belong, an integrated care village, and has held several senior positions with Bupa Care Services overseeing multi-site environments with nursing, dementia and residential care provision.
Patrick said, “I’m thrilled to be managing the new Thrive Living community at The Wyldewoods, Whitchurch Road, Chester. I’m passionate about care for all ages and having previously worked in the city, I’m pleased to be back and looking forward to setting the highest standards from day one”.

Carol's greatest joy comes from her family. A proud mother of two sons, Carol loves spending time with her young granddaughter, whose laughter and fun brings endless joy.
She is excited to bring her wealth of experience, compassion, and enthusiasm to The Wyldewoods and is looking forward to playing a part in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for all.

Sales Consultant
Shirley is our sales consultant for The Wyldewoods. Shirley loves to help people find a lifestyle that allows them to make the most of those golden retirement years, whilst continuing to live independently. She is excited about playing a part in building the community, allowing residents to prosper, make new friends and experience more.
Outside of work Shirley is very family-orientated and enjoys spending time with her two grown-up children, her parents and the rest of her family.
