The Priory Retirement VillagesAn afternoon tea at The Priory, attended by approximately 30 residents, has raised £300 for ShelterBox, which provides vital aid and shelter to victims of disasters around the world.

Tim Hedges, the son of one of our residents and an employee of ShelterBox, joined us on the day to speak about the charity’s work. This was very interesting.

We sold tea, coffee and homemade cakes that were snapped up by hungry residents before donating the proceeds to ShelterBox.

“Everyone at The Priory rallies round to support good causes,” said our Village Manager Shirley Buckley. “It is a great reflection on our community and I’d like to thank all of those who attended or supported the afternoon tea, as well as Tim for his talk.”
