It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at The Priory

14th December 2017

The residents and staff at The Priory always pull out all of the stops when decorating the village, in particular when decorating their 12ft Christmas Tree. With mulled wine and mince pies at the ready, all of the residents made the decorating a grand affair.

Grounds man Russell and Caretaker Colin erected the rather large tree and then many residents took part in decorating it. Once all of the baubles and lights are on the tree, a ‘turning on of the Christmas lights ceremony’ takes place – again with plenty of mulled wine and mince pies, and there’s carol singing for all too.

A wonderful atmosphere to start the Christmas celebrations!
