Thamesfield Christmas Tree

Thamesfield residents have been busy enjoying a packed schedule of events over the festive period.  During the adverse weather the UK experienced last week, residents were kept busy with a spot of arts and crafts! With the help of Karen Utting from Creative Minds, residents used papier-mâché to create a reindeer, they have christened him Randy!

Residents also enjoyed a trip to Toad Hall Garden Centre to see the Christmas decorations and buy any Christmas gifts. One resident ended up buying a Christmas tree for their apartment! Unfortunately Santa wasn’t around for residents to meet him, he’s promised to return to the village on the eve of the 24th December though…

Here are a few photos of the residents decorating the Christmas tree while enjoying a tipple – it’s nearly Christmas after all!
