Summer Garden Party

Diary posted

19th August 2014

On the afternoon of Saturday 9th August Thamesfield held a garden party, the weather was kind to us and thankfully Hurricane Bertha stayed away.

The residents and their guests were served a wonderful tea in the Marquee courtesy of Mike and his team of chefs, there was a  huge selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes (you couldn’t get better at the Ritz!). A team of volunteers also served us Tea & Coffee.

As well as the wonderful food there were a variety of stalls for the residents and their guests to peruse including ceramics, mosaics, stitched goods, cakes, paintings and collectables. We also held a raffle in aid of Pets As Therapy.

Thanks to everyone that helped and worked so hard to make the event such a success.
