Christmas in full swing at Thamesfield

Diary posted

22nd December 2016

At Thamesfield residents are getting into the Christmas spirit, coming together to celebrate with a lovely seasonal party. Everyone got dressed up and headed to the dining room, stopping along the way to admire the beautiful flower arrangements prepared by residents, to enjoy a wonderful buffet with champagne. Many brought their friends and family too.

Afterwards people enjoyed a carol singing performance from a local church with plenty of mulled wine and mince pies. Then there was a raffle with prizes donated by residents and local businesses. These included a hamper full of goodies, chocolate and bottles of bubbly.

We are is donating all proceeds from the raffle, as well as money raised from selling calendars featuring works prepared by the village’s art group, to the local air ambulance service. Watch this space for details of how much we raised in the New Year.
