Bird Feeding at Thamesfield Village

Diary posted

17th February 2016

Residents are enjoying the new bird feeder outside the lounge. So far the birds they have spotted are blue tits, great tits, robins and nuthatches. Unfortunately their enjoyment has been marred slightly by a very greedy grey squirrel that enjoys eating all the birds’ food, and even brought two of his friends along the other day.

Also being enjoyed from the lounge windows are the plants in troughs along the railing, which are now coming into flower, that residents planted themselves.

Please see images of the bird feeders below. Unfortunately both birds and a squirrel are proving tricky to capture on camera.
