The residents from Thamesfield Village have been thoroughly embracing the warm weather throughout June. And with the village’s enviable positioning, right on the banks of the River Thames it’s set to be a beautiful summer for residents.
To take full advantage of the glorious weather, cocktail class held on a Monday was moved onto the river and residents enjoyed Pimms and canapés whilst cruising down the Thames.
And for this month’s themed lunch, the resident chef took inspiration from the hot weather and cooked up an Italian themed feast. Residents enjoyed delights such as borlotti bean soup, parma ham & olive salad, chicken & mushroom risotto and salmon wrapped in zucchini. Finished off with a choice of either tiramisu or raspberry panna cotta.
Residents are now looking forward to the Henley Regatta next week where they will be showing their support to their favoured teams and enjoying some alfresco dining on the riverbank.
