Mayford Grange, Retirement Villages
Residents at Mayford Grange enjoyed a delicious Harvest Festival supper, celebrating the start of autumn.

A mouth-watering menu was created by village chef Mark Tavener with a choice of  rillettes of mackerel on a pickled cucumber carpaccio or butternut and apple harvest soup with crusty bread to start, followed by sea bass with Jerusalem artichoke puree, roasted garlic and red wine or braised duck leg, braised red cabbage, green peppercorn sauce and caramelised apples.

For dessert guests could choose from baked spiced plums with Chantilly cream or a selection of English cheeses with celery, fresh pears and crackers.

Everyone that attended had a lovely evening, thanking Mark for the wonderful food.
