On Friday 28th September, as many venues held coffee mornings in aid of the Macmillan cancer charity, Lime Tree Village played their part too. Kathleen Stubbs and her helpers made sure everything ran like clockwork as always.
Tea, coffee and delicious cakes were served and there were numerous stalls to persuade residents to part with their money. The raffle and tombola proved very popular.
When the money was counted in the afternoon a grand total of £948.20 was collected. This was made up to a straight £1000 with a £51.80 donation.
Well done Lime Tree Village!
