Lime Tree Retirement Village In Warwickshire

Rugby in Bloom

Lime Tree Village won a gold award at the Rugby in Bloom competition in 2018, and they’re going for gold again this year

Last year, the village won their well-deserved award in the ‘community buildings and places of worship’ category, as a result of the hard work and dedication of the garden maintenance team at the village.

We’re looking forward to seeing the gardens at the village being beautifully tended in preparation for the competition – and of course for residents to enjoy.

Our Sales Consultant, Jeanette Cole, has been given the Star Award!

She was nominated for the award – presented monthly to deserving staff – by the senior Lime Tree Village team; in recognition of her recent performance.

Often the first port of call for potential residents looking to buy a new build property, Jeanette’s experience in the role ensures she has a wealth of knowledge about the homes, the village and the local area.

Many existing residents will have met Jeanette and benefitted from her extensive insight into retirement villages and the Warwickshire area.

Charity concert sponsorship

An annual charity concert to benefit a host of good causes in and around Rugby has been gladly sponsored by Lime Tree Village.

Held in the Temple Speech Room at Rugby School, members of Rugby Philharmonic Choir and the Jaguar Land Rover Band joined forces to perform at the highly-anticipated evening, earlier this year.

Regional sales manager Kerry Richardson said: “This was a fantastic event, showcasing much local talent in support of some fantastic good causes in and around Rugby. We were delighted to be the sponsor of this charity concert!”

Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Friends of St Cross and the remainder will be distributed amongst local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Rugby Dunsmore which include SSAFA the Mayor’s Charity.

The programme for the evening featured several popular items including music by John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter – plus some wellloved classics in conjunction with the JLR Band concluding with a Last Night of the Proms finale alongside a sing-along opportunity too.

Willy Goldschmidt, chairman of the Friends of St Cross said: “We are grateful to Lime Tree Village for their sponsorship of the concert which has underwritten the costs of arranging the event.”

We look forward to seeing what’s next in store for Lime Tree Village, in the meantime for everything Lime Tree related just click here.
