The noticeboard in our new clubhouse is quickly filling up with information about planned events, new groups and additional activities.
Our wonderful Residents’ Association chairman Mary Ward is chivvying us all into order. But with our beautiful new clubhouse now available, activities are naturally springing up.
Margaret Barker is in charge of flowers for the clubhouse. A talented flower arranger, she is now encouraging others to get involved in creating the most wonderful displays.
The clubhouse has quickly become an established part of the village. There are always residents popping in to borrow a book from the library, or meeting up with a friend over coffee or dropping in with visitors to show off their new facility.
This Saturday we have the Afternoon Quiz with prizes for the highest scores and the obligatory tea, coffee and cakes! Next week we have an evening of Golden Classics planned. And there’s more to come!
