Carol White Gittisham VillageWe would like to give a vote of thanks and bid farewell to Carol White, who has managed Gittisham Hill Park and its integrated care home, Gittisham Hill House, for nearly twenty years.

Carol is leaving to seek fresh challenges, spend more time with friends and family, plan her next set of holidays and enjoy a little gardening.

On 24 March we hosted a special afternoon tea for Carol in Gittisham Hill Park’s dining room that was attended by nearly 50 residents, some of their relatives and staff members.

Joining us as a residential carer, Carol developed quickly and earned a promotion to Registered Home Manager. For nearly two decades Carol has run both Gittisham Hill Park and Gittisham Hill House.

Our Group Care Director David Thomas said: “Carol has been a diligent and effective manager. Over the years she has worked extremely hard, demonstrating her caring and approachable nature time and time again and consistently going above the normal call of duty for residents. We are very sad to lose Carol but wish her the very best for the future.”
