In the past six months residents and staff at the village have raised over £2,000 for local and national charities.

The latest fundraising effort raised £500 for local children’s charity Shooting Star Chase. The money was raised via an Easter raffle, with residents and staff donating a selection of Easter goodies.

In the last few months alone, the village has raised a significant amount of money for different charities. Back in December residents held a Christmas fair which raised £1,000 for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham, Surrey.

In November residents donated over £200 to the Poppy Appeal and in October the village held a charity bake off for Breast Cancer and Macmillan Cancer care – raising £550 in just two hours!
