Elmbridge Village has been featured in a number of national newspapers over the past few weeks – including The Mail on Sunday and The Daily Telegraph. And it’s no surprise the village is the talk of the town (and the nation!) in light of the recent multi-million pound renovation project, which will see the final new development at the village, Arun House, launch in the coming weeks.
But it was actually the village’s allotments that caught the eye of a journalist from The Daily Telegraph who recently wrote an article on how retirement villages across the UK are ensuring there is plenty of outdoor space available for their residents to call their own. As well as 28 acres of manicured grounds and lots of gardens surrounding the properties at the village, there are also allotments available for residents to rent at Elmbridge Village. The article featured Elmbridge resident Marilyn Duncan who was able to give a real insight into village life and also highlight the benefits the allotments have on her and fellow residents.
In The Mail on Sunday, The Elmbridge Suite, a special one-off penthouse, which sits in the new clubhouse for the village, Elmbridge Manor. The two bedroom, top floor apartment was mentioned in an article about penthouse living for today’s retirees.
We are of course very proud of Elmbridge Village but it’s great to see others recognising the village as a fantastic place to live and enjoy retirement.
