The Target Bowls Competition on target

Residents hit the ‘bullseye’ in their latest social gathering

Elmbridge resident Laurie Russell, who currently runs the Short Mat Bowls Group at the village, recently organised a ‘Target Bowls’ match for residents.

The competition was held in the hall at Elmbridge Manor and teams of two were able to enter. The aim was to hit the ‘bullseye’ target at the end of the mat.

The competition was a great success and some 26 residents took part. It was a great afternoon of entertainment and the deserving winners were Dot Bartlett and Thelma Murphy – well done to them and everyone involved in the competition!
