Elmbridge Village

It’s set to be a busy July for the residents and staff of Elmbridge Village. With the new Arun House development launching in July, the grounds team have been busy planting new vegetation whilst the front of house team have been busy planning the launch event for these new properties.

And the residents have been busy planning and executing the summer social calendar, taking full advantage of the lovely weather in the UK at the moment. Here are a few things to look forward to in July:

  • Friday nights in the bar have been so popular that the bar will now be open on Saturday lunchtimes, manned by volunteers, from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
  • The book club will be meeting on Wednesday 11th July and discussing “Angelica’s Smile” by Andrea Camilleri.
  • The Elmbridge Choir Summer Concert will be on Monday 9th July – an event not to be missed and very popular each year.
  • July’s Luncheon Club will see speaker Darryl Boot take to the stand to talk about Islambard Kingdom Brunel, the greatest Victorian engineer, his life and work, the railways and steam ships and much much more. A tasty lunch will be provided by Mandy, the village’s resident chef.

Another busy month for the village and a chance to enjoy the glorious sunshine.
