The residents at Charters Village were no different from any other excited day-trippers when they set off (in the drizzle) to Brighton. Their fears about the weather for the day did not come to fruition. Although it was not exactly a day of sunshine, the weather behaved and everyone was able to amble through the Lanes or along the sea front without having to use an umbrella.
A delicious lunch was enjoyed and then it was time to go up the i360 Tower where the views were absolutely spectacular! Afterwards everyone enjoyed an ice cream before it was time to return home.
Thanks to the trip organiser Mike, who did a sterling job for the residents!
