Charters Court is a light, bright, spacious home providing quality nursing, residential and residential dementia care in four 15 bedroomed suites. It is operated by our partners HC-One. It is situated in the attractive grounds of Charters Village, an independent living retirement village situated close to East Grinstead.

Comfortable living

Charters Court Care Home offers well appointed and spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. Each bedroom is decorated and fully furnished to a high standard with space for additional personal furniture and items if desired. All the bedrooms have television and can accommodate a direct dial telephone.

Whilst each bedroom offers privacy, each 15 bedroom suite has its own lounge/diner and there are a number of other reception areas in the Home for residents to enjoy and which offer social interaction, activities and quiet time.

At Charters Court Care Home, we endeavour to promote and maintain independence and choice for all residents, enabling every person to live a dignified and fulfilled life.

Each resident has differing needs, interests and preferences; therefore the care and service we provide reflects this individuality. HC-One’s friendly and caring staff team provide ‘round the clock’ care, working to preserve and maintain the dignity, independence and privacy of all residents within a warm caring atmosphere. The home enjoys good working relationships with local GPs, district nurses and other health and care professionals.

The dining areas offer a meal service in a choice of comfortable settings. HC-One recognises the importance that residents attach to the quality of their meals. Trained chefs source nourishing ingredients and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for residents to enjoy. Flexible options are always available to suit individual needs and preferences. Relatives and friends are welcome to join residents for special events and occasional meals.

HC-One employs a number of activities organisers who organise varied activities programme includes art and music clubs, quizzes, exercise classes and popular games. There is also a minibus for trips out to places of interest.
