The residents at Cedars Village held their Macmillan coffee morning on Friday 28th September and raised a whopping £1181.38 for the well-known charity.
There were so many different items to buy on the stalls that were packed into the ballroom and foyer including home-made and shop bought cakes and preserves, along with books, bric-a-brac, handmade crafts and cards.
Residents, family and friends were encouraged to part with their pounds in the ‘mammoth raffle’ and could buy tea, coffee and biscuits to enjoy whilst they browsed.
Everyone involved worked to hard to put the coffee morning together and were pleased with the support from all that supported the effort.
Well done Cedars Village.
