In October older people living in the Amersham area enjoyed a lovely Silver Sunday tea party at the local community centre.

Eighteen members of Cedars Village’s talented choir took part, singing songs to a delighted audience. The event was organised by local councillor Mimi Harker. Tea and refreshments were available throughout.

Silver Sunday is a national event that aims to provide free sociable entertainment to those in later life, as well as combat the problem of loneliness.
