A traditional Burns Night supper was held recently at Cedars Village where residents enjoyed an evening celebration for the Baird, without the pomp and ceremony, but with plenty of haggis and whisky! Patricia Purcell, from the Royal Operatic Society, was the special guest and she sang traditional Scottish songs to keep the audience entertained. An address to the Haggis, of course took place and there were plenty of neeps and tatties! A tipsy Laird trifle with fresh strawberries was served up at the end.
