A St David’s Day dinner at Cedars

On Thursday 22nd February, the residents of Cedars Village held a St David’s Day Supper and it proved to be a very popular event, with over 50 residents in attendance.

The restaurant kicked off the event by serving a potent Welsh punch and the food that followed was suitable Welsh themed, with Welsh faggots and Welsh lamb stew on the menu! And of course warm Welsh cake finished off the meal.

The evenings entertainment included resident Maria singing ‘Calon Lan’, which was beautiful and made many of the residents emotional.

A great evening had by all.
