December is set to be very festive for Castle Village residents

1st December 2017

Residents of Castle Village are set to enjoy an exciting calendar of events throughout December. Carol Singing, Boxing day cake and fizz, The Salvation Army Band and a New Year’s Eve party are all popular annual events at the village. Alongside the regular schedule of social activities, December will be an incredibly busy (and festive!) month.

Castle Village has also recently celebrated its 17th year operating as a Retirement Village. To celebrate, residents hosted a ‘Nostalgia Tea Party’ in the Ballroom. Two restored films from 2003 and 2010 were shown with a tea break in between. It was a good opportunity to remember all of the wonderful memories everyone shares from their time living at the village too.

Residents are also planning ahead for January and have already arranged the January Luncheon Club. There will be a talk by John Pettit about his 30 plus years as a BA pilot. John has held talks at the village before which have been incredibly popular so no doubt his upcoming talk will be just as awe-inspiring.
