Rob Barr appointed new HR Manager

The appointment of Rob Barr as HR Manager of Retirement Villages Group Ltd (RV) is set to enhance the impact of the company’s HR function.

Rob will oversee improvements to systems already in place to address short term operational needs, and aims to introduce new methods and processes to support future goals.

“They say that HR is the backbone of any organisation, and with 839 members of staff working in head office and across its 14 locations, RV is no exception,” said Rob.

“The staff I have already met with during my time here are all dedicated professionals with an obvious love of the job. My focus as HR manager will be the provision of a quality framework to help these individuals achieve their goals, which in turn will benefit the organisation as a whole,” he added.

Rob has a wealth of experience in HR, specifically in the care sector for over 12 years. He is also an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
