The team at Thamesfield retirement village has been strengthened with the arrival of Adriana Fernandes-Bowyer.

Adriana, the village’s new activities organiser, brings with her a wealth of experience in events management, mostly gained working within the hospitality and health care sectors.

She impressed the management team at Thamesfield with her energetic and enthusiastic leadership style, backed up by a wide range of skills and qualifications suited to the role.

“I have dedicated my first few weeks to getting to know the residents and finding out what makes them tick,” said Adriana. “As it happens, they are a very cultural group, with a penchant for local history and places of interest, so I will be planning our 2014 social calendar accordingly.”

Village Manager Rhona Smith said, “I am delighted Adriana has joined our team. From the outset it was clear she shared in our philosophy of providing a first class service to our residents, so I have no doubt she will settle in well here.”
