Maynard House welcomes its first residents

Our Essex retirement apartment scheme, Maynard House, has welcomed its very first residents.

Mr and Mrs Anthony and Rosemary Coleby made history at our Moat Park retirement village by becoming the very first residents in our brand new apartment project.

The retired couple left behind a five bedroom detached home and barn in Debden Green near Thaxted to take up residence in a ground floor two bedroom apartment within Maynard House.

One of the key reasons for the move was to allow Mrs Coleby, who is wheelchair bound, to have access to all her living space, spread across one floor.

Mr and Mrs Coleby will be joined by more residents moving in during August as the 26 apartments start to become occupied. Maynard House has only just been completed but already a third of the properties have been snapped up.
