Maynard House comes to life

In the last few weeks Maynard House, the new apartment scheme at Moat Park, has started to come to life and develop its own social calendar.

Kicking off the proceedings was a lady named Eve Regelous, a former consultant for Harrods, who gave an entertaining presentation about the history of the world’s most famous shop.

The residents enjoyed afternoon tea and homemade cakes as they listened to Eve share her stories. She also brought in her Harrods memorabilia that she has collected over the years.

The following week Maynard House hosted a cheese and wine event. Current residents took the opportunity to share their experiences with visitors over a glass of wine and a fine selection of cheeses. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.

Along with regular events, another benefit to Maynard House is its village mini bus that is a mode of transport for residents. The mini bus allows residents easy access to the supermarket and into the community of Great Easton, Great Dunmow and beyond.

It is also available for private hire if required.
